Our Community Service Corps (CSC) is a committee that coordinates volunteer opportunities for Junior League members with local organizations. The objective of CSC is to provide the League with "Done in a Day" volunteer opportunities. In 2010-11, CSC has been involved with the following organizations:
Ronald McDonald House ("RMH") and John Zay House
Junior League members prepare meals for individuals who have family members being treated at Memorial Hospital (and are staying at RMH) or Penrose Hospital (and are staying at John Zay House). In addition, members volunteered time at the Ronald McDonald House Holiday Gingerbread Neighborhood project and explained what RMH does for seriously ill children and premature babies in our community and what the Junior League of Colorado Springs' role was in founding this wonderful organization. rmhcs.org
