The Little Black Dress Initiative is a week-long event to spread awareness and shed light on the issue of women and children living in poverty within our community. Please join our effort by wearing a black dress (or black tie/bow tie) every day between Monday, February 13 and Friday February 17, 2017. The purpose of wearing the same black dress/tie outfit daily is to help our community visually see the impact poverty has on individuals’ daily lives.
Thursday, February 16th is a forum event, with speakers from the community coming to discuss the topics of human trafficking, domestic violence, and ways the community is giving back to women in need. The event is from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. and will be held at Fieldhouse Brewing Company.
Fieldhouse will be donating $1 per draft sold back to JLCS.
