LBDI Kick-Off Event

Monday, February 13, 2017

Brooklyn's On Boulder -- 110 E. Boulder Street, 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

The Little Black Dress Initiative is a week-long event to spread awareness and shed light on the issue of women and children living in poverty within our community. Please join our effort by wearing a black dress (or black tie/bow tie) every day between Monday, February 13 and Friday February 17, 2017. The purpose of wearing the same black dress/tie outfit daily is to help our community visually see the impact poverty has on individuals’ daily lives.

Our kick-off event for the Little Black Dress Initiative will be taking place Monday, February 13th at Brooklyn’s on Boulder from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  Patrice Ravenscroft, Director of Development from REACH Pikes Peak, will be our speaker for the event. Light appetizers will be provided.

Also, Brooklyn’s will be donating $1 from every drink sold and Radiantly Raw will be selling chocolate hearts for $5 and donating 30% of the proceeds back the JLCS!
