Make a Difference in Colorado Springs! Become a member!

The JLCS is an organization that reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and a commitment to voluntarism. Women from every background give their talents, energy, time, and money to the educational and charitable activities of the Junior League to improve the quality of life in our community.

The League organizes and trains its members and community volunteers for effective action and leadership in the community through orientations, seminars, and “hands-on” experience. As a result, quality involvement and community impact are achieved.

Each Junior League member has made a personal commitment to improve the quality of life for our community. Our success is the collective expression of that individual commitment.

  • Become part of a well-respected international organization with a rich legacy.

What Does It Mean to Be a New Member?

New Members participate in a structured orientation program designed to successfully introduce them to the focus area and mission of the JLCS. New Members are asked to volunteer in the community, attend training sessions, serve on a committee, attend meetings, and enjoy fun social gatherings. New Members are non-voting members of the JLCS. A New Member must fulfill volunteer, meeting, training, committee service, and affordable/flexible financial obligations in order to become an Active member.
